Friday Oct 19 from 1800 to 2200 - celebrate the 30th anniversary of the NMA with special guest the Commander of the Naval Reserve Cmdre Hopper. Open to members of HMCS Tecumseh, NMAS, NAC, CNVA and cadet and NL officers. Speeches and the unveiling of new exhibits at 1900. Food and drink afterwards plus an early opportunity to buy items at the garage sale, bid on silent auction items and buy raffle tickets (main prize $1500 WestJet Vacations gift card). Dress N1A or business casual.
Saturday Oct 20 from 0900 to 1800 - this will include many of the best parts of Navy Days 2017 – Tecumseh band, garage sale, lecture by Dr Guevremont, recognition of the 30th anniversary of the naval museum, book signing by Gord Hunter, honouring our veterans and splicing the main brace. In addition, demonstrations are anticipated from both Navy League cadets and sea cadets. There will be a number of fun events to keep the children interested.
